Josh Slowe is a Baltimore-based photographer.
Joshua Slowe is a visual artist whose work transcends the boundaries of portrait photography. Taking inspiration from fashion and street photography Joshua has paved his very own style by blending the two. He uses this unorthodox approach to document the people in his community to tell their stories through light.
Starting out as spectator of the medium, Joshua was drawn to analogue film at a time when the rise of digital technology seemed unstoppable. Joshua used film photography to help capture the raw energy his surroundings gave him. He hopes the viewer feels like they can start to see inside the minds of the subjects in his work.
