Dr. Joby Taylor

Joby leads the University of Maryland-Baltimore County Shriver Peaceworker Program, which is affiliated with Peace Corps Fellows/USA Program which provides returned Volunteers with financial assistance and community service internships in underserved U.S. communities. Dr. Taylor is a member of the University of Maryland Graduate Faculty with an affiliate faculty post in UMBC’s Language, Literacy, & Culture Ph.D. Program. He also regularly teaches special topics seminars in peace studies, service-learning, and place-based learning for UMBC’s Office of Undergraduate Education and its interdisciplinary scholars programs.
