Mary Graham
Growing up in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania proximity to institutions such as the Fabric Workshop and Museum, and Philadelphia Museum of Art provided Graham with rich fodder for influence, ranging from the contemporary and cutting edge, to the classical and ancient. The cultural significance of the arts was impressed upon Graham from a young age. A philosophy which was fostered by her travels, as she developed a sense of cultural context, and a deep affinity for traditional cultural practices.
