Kirk Francis founded Captain Cookie and the Milkman, an super-hero themed East Coast cookies & ice cream shop that started with one food truck in DC. Together with his wife, he has spent the last decade expanding the business to operate both food trucks and physical stores now in MD, DC, VA and NC with a commitment to building up our team and helping the communities in which we operate. This year, we will expand also to NYC for the first time. Kirk and his wife, Juliann, also started Tastemakers, an incubator kitchen for startup businesses, which quickly grew to become the most sought after commissary kitchen for small and mid-sized culinary businesses in DC.
